July Monthly Rainfall

Fayetteville 4.03"

TONIGHT: We can't rule out a stray shower or thunderstorm tonight as a stalled frontal boundary continues to impact our weather. Temperatures will cool down into the upper 60s and low 70s with a partly cloudy sky. Winds will be out of the east at 5-10 mph.

THURSDAY:We'll experience a partly cloudy sky and afternoon temperatures will warm into the upper 80s and low to mid 90s. Winds will be out of the southeast at 5-15 mph.

EXTENDED: The heat and humidity will reign across our area toward the end of the week with highs back into the 90s. 100 degree heat may quickly develop this weekend, so please keep plants and animals in mind as the heat dominates our weather. No major rain chances exist through the weekend into next week, so keep the outdoor watering going. Be sure to check out our two individual radar views; one for up north and one for the River Valley, as well our Interactive radar... and don't forget, there's always additional interesting information on the blog and the opportunity for you to ask any weather questions that you might have.
