With 81 percent of the votes tallied, Ferguson has over 53 percent of the votes, with Cradduck in second place with 26 percent and Lee with 21 percent.

Ferguson said he was looking forward to his next term as sheriff.

"Just start some of the projects that I've done got started and just keep on working toward the 21st century to better serve the people of this county," Ferguson said.

Ferguson and several supports held a watch party at the Elks Lodge In Rogers Tuesday. He said at the beginning of this campaign that he wanted to continue to serve as sheriff of Benton County because he felt the department was moving in a positive direction under his leadership.

When he was first elected, he replaced former sheriff Lee who had retired.

Tuesday night, Lee and Cradduck watched the results come in at separate watch parties.

Lee says this is the last race he will run in. He is now planning on living part time in Florida.

Cradduck is still employed with the Rogers Police Department, but said he has learned of a lot of opportunities during his campaign.
