State police said that Monday night's heavy rain may have lead to a deadly crash in Franklin County.

Amy Garret, 47, of Barling, Ark., was killed when she lost control of her car and hit a semi on Interstate 40 near Mulberry.

Investigators said the truck driver swerved to miss Garret, but couldn't avoid the crash.

She died at the scene but the trucker was not injured.
