Police Consider Death 'Suspicious'

PARKS, Ark. -- Scott County authorities said the death of a woman found in a pond Wednesday morning is suspicious.Scott County Sheriff officials told 40/29 News Thursday that they have a suspect in custody, but would not release the name of the suspect.The woman’s body was found just off Highway 28 near Parks around 9:30 a.m. after authorities were alerted by an anonymous 911 call. The body has been send to the State Crime Lab in Little Rock for an autopsy.
Scott County Sheriff officials said they are conducting a full investigation of the woman's death.40/29 News and 4029tv.com will continue to update this story as more details come in.
