Summer is upon us, and are your children looking for something to keep them busy? The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Janet Huckabee Arkansas River Valley Nature Center has the answer for you. We’ve planned a series of summer youth nature art workshops. All activities are free, but registration is required. Please call 479-452-3993 to register for a summer nature art workshop.

Youth Ages 6-10 Thursday 06/12/08 9:00 – 11:00 am Masks Masks Masks – Celebrate the summer by creating a mask of a different kind: animals. We’ll design with paint, mini treasures, and more!

Tuesday 06/17/08 9:00 – 11:00am Photography Workshop - Become a professional photographer in training, with a focus on macro photography. Bring your own camera, or use one of ours!

Tuesday 06/24/08 1:00 – 3:00pm Painting Workshop - Come paint your love of nature, and learn a few new techniques for tempera painting.
